Desperate couples are being forced abroad for fertility treatment amid widespread cutbacks to NHS IVF provision, experts have warned.
Restrictions by British health services have prompted a boom in “fertility tourism”, with increasing numbers turning to countries such as Spain, Greece and the Czech republic, a report suggests.
The figures show that access to IVF treatment on the NHS has hit a record low.
